IdCardit supply a range of ID Cards from the basic card through
to the contactless Smart Cards which contain an internal
antenna circuit that lets the card reader read information from
a distance.
Contactless readers are able to read information faster than
contact cards making them ideal for access control.
LSS use Mifare technology which is a 13.56MHz contactless
technology. The Mifare card has 16 sectors. The first sector
is generally used as a directory for the rest of the card,
leaving 15 sectors available for storing data. This means that
up to 15 different applications can be stored on a Mifare
card. these applications will be separate and secure from one
another by using passwords for each sector.
